Welcome to the Malta Kendo Institute: home for the development of quality kendo in the Maltese islands, reputed with the most qualified dan kendo players in Malta. With seminars organized regularly, visits by foreign sensei’s and trips to the UK, students have the opportunity to develop their true ability as a quality kendo player. In December of 2008, The Malta Kendo Institute was christened with a Japanese name by Sensei Paul Budden 7th Dan Renshi and Sensei Kazuyo Mstuda 5th Dan in honor of the development of kendo in the Maltese Islands by Sensei Zammit. The description below shows not only the literal menaing but also the relationship to the great Japanese Kendo Sensei.
