EVENTS FOR THIS YEAR

NOT TO BE MISSED

 

 

July 17th 18th 19th  Maltese Kendo Federation Annual International Seminar

This year the Maltese Kendo Federation will be hosting three intense days of Kendo and for the first we will have three top kendo Instructors who are

  

 

    Sensei Paul Budden 7th Dan Renshi – Kendo Bucho, British Kendo Association

    Sensei Jumpei Matsumoto 7th Dan Kyoshi– Chief National Coach, British Kendo Association

    Sensei Kazuyo Matsuda 5th Dan – Ladies Team Coach, British Kendo Association

   Also some members will be attending the seminar from Kodokan UK.

 

Thursday and Friday The practice will run from morning to early afternoon and will cover shinai and kata kendo.

 

Saturday is for grading and competitions. So be prepared!!

 

Saturday evening we have the sayonara party. It will be a held at paradise bay, so it will be well organized, and it is a barbecue. It is very important that we attend and have fun, and you are more welcome to bring family and friends along. The charge will be minimal.

 

 

 

August Kodokan Uk Seminar

This year will be our largest contingent yet attending the seminar AND attempting their skill at grading.

This seminar is of top quality with the highly respected Sumi Sensei 8th Dan from Japan as Chief Instructor assisted by fellow 8th dan. It is an experience not to be missed.

 

 

October / November

Competitions – there will two be categories Kyu and Dan grade. More information will follow.

 

 

December

In December we will have our Christmas Party, together with our XMAS KENDO BASH and our

XMAS Kendo Competitions. If they are on the same day or not we will see.
